Well, I would prefer replacing the whole roundel but seeing as how the current roundels available don't fit the rear, and supposedly the front is a huge pain to get off, I chose to use these.

that's a bummer to hear though, hopefully mine fare better.

I have read some threads on the subject and if I'm not mistaken some people have done it on the E92, I'd love to know how.

Looks nice...I had mine on my 330 for two years, never had any problems. All thought this time around I decided to use the actual black and white Roundels.

I'm envious! I've got the replacement roundels sitting on the desk right in front of me, but I'm hesitant to do the install myself, and I don't even know if they'd fit!

anybody done a full roundel replacement on the E92?

I like the picture of the gauge cluster... no error messages with the overlays!

I've got full replacements on my e90... oh the benefits of being obsolete!

The front one isn't bad to get off; it's the rear one that is tough. That and there is no perfect fit replacement for the e92 yet. I have, literally, 30 roundels here and none fit just right. The 72mm might be close. I have overlays on too for now:

If you're serious, sure. I probably have some extras. I know I have at least one extra front roundel.

Picus,
Did you get your full roundels off ebay? The overlays I just put on are coming up at the corners and I don't think they will last long.

They look nice to me, but it gets rid of the meaning of the roundel.

Yes. BMW was founded on building airplane motors. The roundel is supposedly showing the spinning propeller (white) against the sky (blue)...

... now its just the propellor spinning against carbon fiber...

Persoally, I like the blue

actually has dual meaning. it also symbolizes bmw's bavarian roots.
