Hello, new member here saying Hi.

Stumbled across this site. was previously on e46 years ago.

Just purchased a used e92 323i, I know its a bit underwhelming but coming from a 318i should be a noticeable upgrade + want to save the money for handling specific mods in the future, and maybe some minor mods here and there, not to mention issurance, servicing etc which all adds up.

Will put up some pictures once I get my car and rego all sorted out. Let me know who you are, here to make friends!

Cheers!

Underwhelming? 323i is a sweet thing - extra power is the easy way out

Welcome!

Looks like some awesome folks here. Eyes tired....back sore...spent 8 hrs researching and choosing between things... as i was on a shopping spree today.

Bought the following (need to stick to a budget to make things fun)

1. BMS Powerbox (from US, choose that over a SprintBooster)

2. AC Schizerfingermiggy replica strut brace (replica, had a rep on my e46 too) loved the carbon fibre BMW perf. one but needed the extra $$ to go into other mods..hope I dont regret it.

3. the famous Aero Lip in Shappire Black

Welcome to the forum mate, the e92 is a stunning vehicle regardless of engine choice.

Nice set of mods you got lined up. Some guys on 1addicts have experienced real gains with the BMS powerbox over stock with timed 0-100kph runs. The sprintbooster merely affects throttle sensitivity so I think you've made the right choice.

Also, as SBC has mentioned already in this thread, come to the next meet in November!

but welcome anyway

323 has the same engine as the 325 anyway - subtle differences only resulting in a small power deficit.

Click 'post reply', scroll down and click 'manage attachments'. A pop up should appear where you attach photos.

I'm guessing you changed your Chome highlights to the Black shadowline seen on cars with M-sport?

I can't wait to do this mod for myself.

Did you spray paint it yourself? what prep work? what colour & type of paint?

Let's see some pics!
