Up for sale is my OEM BMW 6MT short shifter with boot. Purchased this essentially brand new from another fanatic BUT never installed it.

I don't have the stock shifter anymore, but it's definitely noticeable.

BTW: I apologize for the somewhat confusing thread title. I am selling the Shift knob and Boot only. This is not the short-shifting kit. Thanks for looking.

This one is the same height as the M-Sport knob.

I actually had and liked this knob very much, especially since it looks so good and doesn't have the ///M insert but I reluctantly went with the M-Sport knob to match the perforated leather of my steering wheel and e-brake handle.

+1 I bought the full-leather non-M version of this knob. It is probably an inch shorter than the broom-handle stock one and has a noticeable impact on shifting effort and feel (more hefty, more precise). Very nice.
