Not yet, been too busy. I dont need this mod until february so im not in any hurry at the moment, might continue to check the junkyards until that time although im not holding my breath to find a saddle sedan folding seat in leather (seems too specific).

Any other thoughts on how to finish this so it looks good and dampens noise from the trunk when not in use?

I've done it. Just pop that nice plastic piece off that's behind the armrest and there is another plastic piece (which is the back of the seat) just as that other guy's picture shows. I cut through it with a sander disk on a dremmel. Very easy, it just makes a LOT of dust. I did it for my subwoofer though, so I also ended up cutting the first plastic piece too. Unfortunately I couldn't find pics of what it looked like while in progress, but here's a couple of the after...

That's great, just crank up the tunes when the baby starts balling.

Had the ski pass thru on my E90(cold weather package) but ended up going with a Thule rack system and deflector since I didn't want to have my skis full of ice and snow dripping inside my car after a day of skiing or boarding. It is nice to have the security benefit of keeping them inside your car vs. on the roof.

Funny, that's about the exact same response I got when I originally posted what I had done to the audio section. I do have a sub volume knob up front. He's not going to go deaf, lol. I did have to take the sub out for a week or so to do some more work on the setup. My son noticed the speaker wasn't there and said, "where's the speaker daddy? I'm very sad at you!"
LOL

It really is. You can read up all you want about how to please a woman, you can look at all the diagrams in the world, but just like the clitoris, you won't know what the hell an apex is before you actually find it.
