Weird sound when shutting down engine. - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Before when I shut the engine off there was this weird sound. Sounded like a gurgling or rumbling sound.
Is it normal?

I'll see if I can duplicate it again.

I hear this wonderful turbine slow down like sound just after I switch off my car. I always stay and listen to it, even though it is fairly muted.

AC compressor slowing down and stopping???

sounds like when an airplane is turned off when you get the gate..sounds tight..i also noticed my fan stays on after the engine is turned off when i drive for a long time.

I know exactly what you are talking about. My wife starts bitchin everytime it does it. It does it when you turn it off or when you hit the clutch on first gear.

and yes, I also hear that sweet turbine slow down like sound just after I switch off my car sometimes.
