I have an authentic SIMOTA Carbon Fiber Air Intake.

I love the product, don't get me wrong, but it does not fit on the 330xi. mds82 can account for this as after i was unable to install it on my car, he thought i was out of my mind, and tried to help me install it during the next NYC e90post meet. He can confirm this will not fit in a 330xi.

The Intake installs perfectly in a 325i, 325xi, and 330i! For prospective 328i/xi buyers, i would expect it should fit as well. but i don't know about 335i.

If it would fit in my car i would have kept it!

For members new to the forums, these are one of the most popular and sought after intakes on e90post for our cars. There are no issues of stalling or lost hp/torque. it sounds great, and has a carbon fiber housing that channels air directly from the front grille to the air intake filter. Needless to say, members that have been around here long enough all know what intake i am selling and could vouch for it against the controversial fujita/britalman, and AFE.

for now stock. i think my options of obtaining a more aggressive sound is only exhausts at this point.

See the red arrow. the diameter of that fan in the 330xi is larger and therefore the intake duct cannot be installed properly; not enough room.
