They need to keep this concept as intact as possible... I love the idea of the doors being huge to accomodate back-seat ingress (better solution than RX-8 suicide doors) and the exotic bodywork. I still think this should be called the 8 series or 9 series or 10 series to showcase its place in the lineup, and have a 865i for 100k, this hybrid for 150k and an M8 that has everything for 200k. That way you get more volume, do the hyrbid for efficient dynamics and the M for all-out performance (and wider wheels heh)

Don't understand these electric car things. How do you charge them? The car has to be plugged to an electricity supply? Isn't that totally inconvenient? Who on earth would want to do that? Or do you take out some small battery pack from the car, take it into the house and then charge that?

Welcome to the future...
You can plug it into your clothes dryer power plug, [with a long ass extension cord] or have a charging system installed in the garage. In the not to distant future, there will be charging stations, just about every place that you will want to go. Quote:

The production model needs fatter rubber.. Those look like bicyle tires..

The read end still looks really "choppy" to me, it doesnt seem to flow. The front is stunning, the rear just still doesnt do it for me :/

on the contrary it does seem to flow, that's why it was designed this way, for aerodynamics, reduce drag (coeff = .22) and up MPGs. Aesthetically pleasing comes second.

They are said to make the tire behave as if it was wider. |
