From what I've read on the other posts, you may want to get new struts when you get your springs because you don't have ZSP.
With the spring difference, you'll be wearing out your stock struts out quickly.

As for the warranty issue, basically as long as the defective part/s are not attributed to the aftermarket part, it's covered.

So in your case, if you switched out your suspension parts and your alternator dies, then the alternator is covered but if something on your suspension cracks or breaks (say some type of suspension linkage) and they trace it back to your aftermarket suspension, then no - it's your cost to fix
Hope that helps

just get coilovers if you can swing it, so you dont have to be bothered with shocks. You can adjust the height and dampening rate too btw

+2 for the H&R Coilovers

But then again there is a big $ savings with the Race springs or Sport Springs

i've been riding H&R race springs since may/june 2006 and the shocks are still in amazing shape.

i had an e46 put it on sportlines with sport shocks and they were done after 2-3 months.

i am honestly impressed with my non-sport shocks on my e90. still ver very stiff believe it or not, and the roads up here in montreal are by far the worst. they repave a road and a weak later its all cracked and full of pot holes.

i still plan on buying koni yellows in spring, basically for the hell of it.

hoped i helped you out a bit....
