If the players union and the owners don't come to some type of an agreement they will be losing more money than they can even estimate. The league has NEVER been healthier than it is right now. think about what happened to hockey when they had their lockout a few years back....not that hockey was that awesome to begin with (IMO)

but yeah, i want to have faith that a deal will get done, but I look at some 'players' who see it more as a business than a sport they get paid to play.

plus the SB will be in INDY next year (my hometown) so there CAN'T be a lockout! lol

It couldn't have happened at a worse time for hockey. They had just not too long before landed some big TV contracts and I believe they had just leapfrogged the NBA in popularity, or at least were about to. The lockout killed it. Contracts were gone, popularity was gone, it fucked them over so bad. The NFL doesn't have to worry about it, but what happened to the NHL was they decided to fuck things up when they had more forward momentum than they ever could have hoped for in their wildest dreams. Sucks.

I want to say the steelers will win, but I'm not so sure.

They always step up for these big games, but every now and then they just completely throw everything out the window and fuck everything up in a game.

for what it's worth I put $500 on the steelers though

you said it..... big games they step it up. Greenbay doesnt have what it takes to knock them off in a super bowl. I hope anyway!

Going to be an epic game I think.

I honestly think a turnover is going to be the demise of Greenbay, we all know one turnover will depict the winner in a game like this.

Win or lose, both teams played exceptional this year!

packers are my #2 team, always have been. So I'm really looking forward to the outcome either way. Should be one of the better super bowls in a while I hope
