Pardon my ignorance, but what does it provide that ours don't? And I don't see the automatic option?

This switch would work nicely if we had motors to level our HIDs like they have them in europe. I believe they will work for our US spec cars, but you won't be able to use your cornering lights. (and no electronic leveling either obviously)

What cornering lights do u speak of? Do u have this on your car too? Maybe u need to check the install again if your cornering lights don't work anymore.

I don't have this switch but I was making an assumption and sorta asking a question at the same time. I don't know about E90s but on US spec E92s, when you turn, the inner halogens turn on depending on which side are turning. Same goes when you turn on the blinker. It lights up the area on the right or left side of the car to give you better visibility when turning. This only works if the switch position is on AUTO. If I set the switch to ON, cornering light doesn't work. Since this switch doesn't actually have an AUTO, how does it affect cornering lights?

It was given to me when I bought the car, an install the original owner never got around to doing. So, I'm not 100% sure what car it came from, all he said was he bought it in the UK? As for the dial, after doing some research I've concluded that the dial is used to adjust the lights up and down, if your car supports this feature, European option I believe. If not, then the switch will still work but, the dial will serve no purpose.
