Double din question - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Hey guys ive been researching for a bit now about installing a double din into my 06 e90 (prem, no idrive). I know as soon as I take out the OEM head unit i'll lose the seat belt and low gas chimes. But im wondering will I also lose service info(like miles till oil change etc.) and mpg,miles till empty and all that.

Can someone that has installed a double din and DID NOT reloacte the oem head unit chime in? thanks

I dont think you'll lose any of that since it is shown in the information panel and saved to the cars computer, but I could be wrong.
