TV Function - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Hi
need some info on the Tv function. If anyone with a 2009 or 2010 model 3 series with TV function could verify the following.
Does the blue safety screen display when the car moves i.e after 5 mph or as soon as it rolls.
or when D is selected with the hand brake on or off, whilst the car is still stationary.
Also is there any difference in manual. auto or DCT gears.

I have an X5 with TV, think its when D is selected but would need to check next time in the car.

The TV stops on when drive is selected, also stops on when crawling VERY slowly but once past 1-2mph it blanks off.

A tv-in-motion module will stop this happening - available from Germany on Ebay - about hundred quid ish

my 2007 manual loses the tv screen as soon as the handbrake is released or the car moves at all
