iPod Issues - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

I've noticed that my iPhone when plugged into the provided adapter will occasionally skip for a brief second and continue, has anyone else experienced this behavior?

Yes...if your phone has iOS 4.1, there's your problem. Apple release iOS 4.2 today and I will be upgrading when I get home tonight to hopefully end this problem.

Thanks, I've been waiting for this upgrade because it also upgrades the iPad, good to know... do you know if this is documented anywhere?

All over Apple's forums. It isn't just BMW's - seems many brands have the problem and it only happened when people upgraded to 4.1. My brother's iPhone has 4.0.1 and does not have the problem. My iPhone has 4.1 and does have the problem. Supposedly beta testers of 4.2 say the problem is fixed.
