Tint % for light colored interior

I'm planning to get tint installed when im back but having a hard time choosing between 35% and 50% as most of the pics are of black cars with black interiors. Mine is a blue water metallic w oyster interior.

FYI where I live it's sunny/rainy year round but I want to find a balance between the car looking good and having good visibility. Pics would be appreciated.

i just got 35% all around and 5% on the back window.
50% is a waste of money. do 35% it looks classy and no cops will mess with you.

Thanks guys, 35 it is! does anyone know how tint would effect auto dimming mirrors?

Boost junky- how come you chose 5% for the back? Doesn't that make it impossible to see when backing out?

only reason i chose 5% in the back is because i wanted something really dark all around but didnt wanna risk getting a ticket so i got 35% around instead and the 5% just gives it a darker look and if i do get pulled over its still legal. but at night i HAVE to roll the windows down its impossible to see but you will get used to it.

I have 35 all around w beige interior...for me it looks just right. Plus I live in tint-nazi land, so any darker is a ticket waiting to happen.

I'm a fan of Huper Optik 40. It's still reasonably light for good visibility (particularly at night), but blocks a ton of heat.

Where do you live? Southern states would do better with Ceramic to fight off the heat. Certain states have laws against front window tint - the 50% will help with that. You made a great point that you have a light interior. 35% with black interior will look a lot darker. I agree that 35% all around would look nice. I have that and no issues with autodim.

^ I was thinking 35 front and back with 50 front/rear windshield. Wife wants 35 on back for fluidity but I'm concerned about visibility

ive got 35% all the way around on my car, cops wont mess with you at all. Perfect visibility at night, didnt notice a difference. My brother is in the drivers seat in the second pic, anywhere around 30-35% is perfect IMO

EDIT: sorry for the massive pics lol

I have 35% all the way around on mine with saddle brown interior and love it. On my previous car, with beige interior, I had 5% and got quite a few tint tickets....around 8 I believe over the course of 4 years.

Heres what 35% looks like...

50% will be too light, especially with light linterior.

I have 50% on my fronts with 35% on the rears and back window.
Here the S.F. Bay Area there are some real jerk cops. I also have the shades if I want it real dark in the back.

I know this is an old thread, but OP, can you post some pictures with the tint you chose? I have the same interior/exterior combination and I'm in the same dilemma as you were.
