Question for those with IPod integration - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

I am currently using a micro hard drive, and while it was working at first, the more music I add to it, the slower it loads. Now it will not even read any more ID3 Tag information and I have to browse directories just to play music. This is really annoying so I was thinking about switching to an IPod.

How is the reaction speed when navigating using the steering wheel buttons? Can you navigate music using the idrive knob?

I already have the ipod kit, just dont have an ipod.

Have you tried defragmenting the drive?

Yes you can navigate the ipod through the idrive. Steering wheel control and reaction speed works fine.
