Higuain didn't pass his fitness test so I knew Barca was gonna take this one.

In the OP, your first statement is wrong. A.C. Milan actually has 4 more Euro Cups than Barca. Liverpool, Ajax, and Bayern Munich also have more, and Man U and Inter Milan have the same amount.

I ruined it for a bunch of people watching it in a Pub. I walked in looking for Monday Night Football.. and found a game that had been over for the last 5 hours. I exclaimed, "Why are we watching Barca beat RM 5-0 when we could be watching MNF?" They all got pretty upset and I was forced to watch mnf someplace else.

Oh and... this is an American forum. In America, soccer is kinda gay.

Hi,

I've been a Real Madrid supporter all my life and i did watch the 'Clasico' yesterday.

I've never seen such humiliation... it was as if the Barçà played against dummies !

I still love the Real, but it's going to take a while before i forgive them !

I had to work or i would have watched it...here in the U.S. we don't break for three hours during the day to have a "siesta"....

Re the game..not super surprised, if either of these teams is on their A-game..they are gonna rock and roll..here one team was on it, Barca...

The planet has roughly 6.7B people and North America accounts for about 400M of it. In the USA and Canada, soccer has a very low viewership any day and especially on Monday so your 400M viewership comes from the other 6.3B people on the planet.

Even though I love soccer, he is right. We don't have a big U.S soccer fan base. The U.S is all about football not futbol.

This list is pointless. The NFL has been a business first for decades. Of course their revenue is going to be incredibly high. Go to England and go to a soccer game, the ticket prices for decent seats will be nowhere near what you'd pay for nosebleeds at an NFL game. Ever notice that you don't have NFL teams? They're franchises as compared to soccer clubs.

You can't honestly tell me you think that if you went worldwide and started asking people about sports teams the Dallas Cowboys, Washington Redskins, and NE Patriots would get responses. They wouldn't. But I guarantee almost everyone will know Real Madrid and Barcelona.
