Front Seat Module DIY?

After some research, my drivers seat module (controlling seat movement) needs to be replaced. Any DIY available? Is seat removal required?

Thank you!

If the seat is as high as it can go, it is possible to replace without removing the seat in a '07 E92. I've done it. Turns out, i didn't need to and subsequently put back the old one. I tracked my problem to a broken ground lug in a connection plugged into the module caused by movement when seated and resulting work hardening and fracture of the lug. Parts are on order to perminently resolve.
