aussie dyno numbers with procede
looking for people who have actually dyno'd their cars with a procede v4
please post up your results. i dyno'd mine stock and it made 183rwkw on a dyno dynamics in 4th gear dyno'd it again with the afe twin intake box and procede v4 on map 1, it made 215rwkw interesting thing is it made 215 first run, then 205 after that. fuel curve was changing on every run. i think a little bit of that is heatsoak, but also have a feeling my hpfp is on its way out. after the dyno i got the engine error - reduced power code on the screen and 320i power. turned the car off and on and it went back to normal. from what ive read, power should be around 230 after the procede so im wondering why mine is down on power |

the engine error code after the run is a bit of a worry. is that what is to be expected after every couple of runs with the procede?

power is down because you are using Dynodynamics... whack it in on a Dynojet and see the numbers difference.
what matters is the gain... and you've gained 32rwkw or 43rwhp.. which is great!!

205 atw seems a bit low, you should definitely be seeing numbers in the 230s.
And yes, having a check engine light after only a few pulls is a big worry...the PROcede should make almost no difference on how long and hard you can go.

Would be interested to see results from a Mainline DynoLog.
Apparently you can't fudge number, as they have built in weather stations for correction. These dyno's are used at all auto saloon shoot outs. If anyone has experience with these dyno's, could you please post your results. 386whp here (diff tune tho). ![]() |

yeah mainline is quite consistent
i use the same dyno for all my power runs, same settings, same position for the inlet temp sensor etc to make sure the readings are consistent |

I'm not big into throwing the car onto the dyno.
In Feb 07 on Procede v1 I ran 234kw on a Dynapack. Car feels much stronger now but cannot be bothered with what the final # is. Also I have more mods (intake, intercooler, exhaust etc) than I did back then.

![]() Ride wise my Mrs is off the road for 12mths, so I've gone domestic with a 6.0L V8, not nearly as luxurious as the BM but sh*t loads of fun, manual box, plus I dont give a toss if some wanker scratches the bumper bar in the train station car park , or the kids drop drinks / food inside the car ...... well not as much anyway.Still keen to get an e36m3 and supercharge it at some stage, but wife/kids/yachting etc mean no spare time ![]()
