Tubo Failures on 320d - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Has any one come across a common peformance failure on the e90's.

Its not a common occourence, but I know that some have had turbo failures on 4 & 6 cylinder Diesels

My mates's turbo blew on his 320d at 65k miles.

Mines being replaced under warranty at the moment,E90 LCI 320d, only done 1700 miles yes 1700 !

I had to have the VGT actuator linkage replaced and the lower boost pipe.
One day it would pull strongly from 1800rpm and the next nothing till above 2500rpm.
All done under warranty.
