Best Vendor for HID Fog Light Kits

Guys,

I have run HID Extra foglight kit in my car for a while now and I had a broken pin connector which has led to a bunch of problems that we can't seem to solve. Long story short, I want to start from scratch and get a full new kit from a good company with an error free product.

Any suggestions for a good HID foglight kit that won't break the bank?

Thanks

xenonsupply.com I have bought countless kits from them and they sell a solid product. They stand behind their products too, if they ever burn out, flicker, change colors etc they will take care of you.

You'll show a bulb out warning and they'll likely flicker without some sort of "canbus" error canceller.. Which is really just a capacitor. IMO, the best quality aftermarket option is Morimoto, check out http://www.theretrofitsource.com/hid-systems.html

Also, if you can, just code out the bulb check for the fog lights, makes for a cleaner install with less parts.

My car requires an H11 bulb for the fogs which I don't see on their (Morimoto) site. Am I missing something?

I only had occasional bulb warning codes with my HID Extra kit(s).

Also, Id have to pay someone to code out that issue....

I use the High Performance Bulb BMW HID Kit. If you have a 2007 or earlier they are not guaranteed error free, although customers have reported them error free more times then not.

I had same issue with my 2007 328i
Fog will not light up one the next it's ok. Then it would go from drive to passenger side. I replaced cables bulbs ballast. Same.
Yesterday I bought a canbus kit off amazon. I asked around and all seemed to have different views on brand for canbus.
I got O-Nex brand.

The year is irrelevant, it's just for application purposes. As I suggested, the 07 is not guaranteed error free which is why the kit starts at 2008.

You'll need to verify your fog light bulb and select the appropriate bulb and color. 4300K is what I had which matches the OEM low beam.

as long as you've had good results with '07 models I will pull the trigger on these. Let me know

I have that info. 9006 6000K

I had used HIDExtra's kit for 3+ years and ran into an issue with a broken connector pin and now have to start from scratch because we cannot get anything to work consistently with that kit.

We genuinely had some 2006-2007 work. I've tested a few personally and we sold a bunch without a hitch. Then here and there were some outliars that still didn't work. The 07 is a real pain! LOL
