I've Been Blinded: Alpine HID Angel Eye (pics & review)

By my Alpine HID Angel Eye kit.

So, I picked up this kit about a week ago, and i decided that this kit is so bright, and so powerful, and clear.... that I've been blinded.

It is so SICK! and a must do!!

I never thought i'd end up getting an angel eye kit, simply because its such a played out mod (which isnt true after you get this!!) but also because I was so sick of hearing bad reviews about the other kits, that I didnt want to start messing with this.

I did my research before I made the move, read reviews on the site, and made sure the kit was out long enough (on test cars & customer cars) in order to prove that it will not be faulty in any way.

I finally made the move & picked up my OWN Alpine HID Angel eye kit, and had it installed on my car by Alex@Alpine personally, just because I thought I was not capable of doing it alone without messing it up.

Sorry, I was wrong. This kit is so easy to install, even my 6 year old cousin can do it with out a problem.

took Alex himself just a bit over 30 minutes to install it, & it took only 2 bolts (for power which are already on the car) & the rest was real simple.

Tools you ask? Simple, open the tool kit to your BMW & the tools are laying right there!

I was honestly so amazed by how easy it was, no cutting wires or plastics, no fear of breaking anything or anything. It was so easy, it felt as if connecting 2 pieces of lego together.

I think I did enough talking, just wanted to mention, it's such a small mod, but I've never had so much attention, or compliments before!!

Personal opinion, pull the trigger on these, it's 10000% Plug & Play. Alex@Alpine offers free local installs, great customer service, & best of all, it doesnt only work on the M3, it works on many other models!!!!

I only have one picture for now, but I will post more shortly!

Thank you all,

and of course, special thanks to Alex@Alpine for coming out to do the install & offering such an incredible product!

No errors? How does all of that fit into the headlight housing? Do they light up normally on the lock/unlock welcome feature?

0 errors!

the balast's are so small you can double stick tape them to any where, like I did.

I will be posting some install pic's as well, however only thing that goes inside the headlight is the actual bulb.

there really isnt much hardware for this kit,and it all ends up hidden.

They look awesome in the picture

I personally don't like messing around with the headlight unit b/c of horror stories that I've heard...warranty issues, etc. But they do look damn nice on your ride.

Alex explained to me the reason, however im not familiar with bulbs etc, but he said not only they run cooler then Halogen, theyre also one of the coolest HID bulbs out.

Quality parts are used in this kit.

I can tell you for a fact it doesnt / wont melt anything because plenty of these kit's went out to vegas for MFest & thats a long travel (yea were all going fast but it took about 7-8 hours) and the lights were running constantly.

Looks nice!
Is this 8K temp? Is there a big visually different in color between this HID angle and low beam headlights when they are on?

Thanks,
J-

these are 8k, forgot to mention!

No, not too big of a difference on my head lights, and the few other kit's i've seen.

Alex@Alpine sell's the headlight upgrade as well if you want to match... i chose not to because when your head lights are on, it gives a bigger effect on the angel eyes and makes them pop out.
