Or, you can go to a body shop and do fender flares.

+ 1. A little bit more unique route vs Liberty Walk.

Find some wheels in the spec you really want... then radius fenders/add styling etc to make it come together.

Reasearch custom metal wide body kits.. they look a million times better then flare..
flares on BMW's look stupid.

There is a thing called a "T cut", you cut the metal fender from the top of the wheel arch to the body line and cut it along the body line forming a "T"
you buy the wheels you want to run and mount them and flare the fender to the right fitment you want. then weld and fill in the empty fender space and repaint.. those are the cleanest looking widebodys and always look unique..
research VIP car custom metal widebodys..

ps: you can widen the top of the "T" to the width of the rear fender or keep it smaller makign a large widened area or just around the wheel arch.

of course you want to take it to a shop that has done custom widebodys and welds well.
labor for custom rears could run from $2k-$4k
and for the fronts I would recomend either molding flares or having the same shop cut and fill in the plastic front fenders, or you could get M3 front fenders for 335i.

I have designed my own widebody's and done a lot of research on widebody's way beyond the bmw platforms.
