Clay vs T-cut - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Was just wondering what's the difference between clay and t-cut in terms of what they do as they both seem to remover ingrained impurities from the paint. Which is better?

Never heard of this T-cut product, but when in doubt, I always recommend going a tried and true route; in this case, clay.

T-Cut is nothing like Clay bars :S

Just googled t-cut, it's a compound.

clay pulls out impurities from your paint, compound actually removes a tiny amount of clear coat to smooth a surface.

You want to clay before you use a compound so it's not an either or you use both to accomplish a final goal.
