Just did it to my Red e92. I got my grills from JleviStreetWerks.com for ~$60. Real easy stuff. I'll put up pics tomorrow, stupid sun has set...
My $.02: I'm pretty sure they're Torx screws, but they're so loose an allen will work on them. I used a 4 mm and it was fine (5/32" = 3.9 mm). Did anyone notice that the head on the inner screws were thicker than the heads on the outer, or am I making this up? |

I just bought mine from Jlevi also and they are not $60 they cost $99,please post the pics, my e92 is red also would love to see them, P.S. and if you did get them for $60 post evidence please cause I just overpaid and am owed a $30 refund!!!!This forum I beleive is so that we can help each other, not necessarilly the vendors,they are here to make$$, Thank you very much.

Just go to your BMW dealer and ask for the ones for 328i e92 they are black,I bought them for $13.50 ea, you will need 3, left,right and middle, hope this helps!

I want to add some advice:
The grills are two-piece. The chrome outer ring and the chrome slats. If you take a flathead screw driver and gently try to pry apart the chrome ring and the slats the ring will come off and then you can put your flathead and pull out the slats section that is actually the piece attached to the bumper. I'm sorry I wasn't that clear. Once you start you will get it. -Amir |
