If the car is fully loaded with sport package, audiophile package, Msport and NAV. You are pretty much set for exterior mod. I would just add a M3 lip spoiler and angel eyes LED.

As for performance, the first mod I would do is a tune (COBB or JB4) and intake.

Hope it helps

Congratulations! Post up pictures once you get the car!

As for mods, I always start off by tinting my windows and than I go from there.

All the Problems spotted before purchasing still here.... rear window rubber falling.... oil leak spot(just wiped it up)..... brake serive 5k left. I was told i am not getting the car as is(sales said they are biggest BMW in toronto will fix everything dont' worry)seem like i am getting the car AS IS.

well. You should insist and put into writing that all these mentioned items will require repair/replacement prior to the car being delivered. If not done, then you have the option to cancel the entire deal and get all deposits back without penalty or you give option to the dealer that you will postpone your acceptance of the car until they are rectified to your satisfaction.

Please don't take their verbal promises ... if you are smart !! It does not matter if they are the biggest dealer in GTA ... it does not even matter if they are the biggest in the WORLD. It's your $ and you have the final say.

I read somewhere that if you do cancel the deal based on them not fulfilling the bill of sale (Repairing the cracked windshield or tinting windows etc...) then you CAN cancel the whole deal. However, they will take $$$ from your deposit or down payment to recover costs for them detailing your car or for a "restocking" fee to put the car back up for sale.

Damn sorry to hear that, just make sure you got everything in writing/email. Didn't you see the cracked windshield when you looked at the car?

if this is a cpo vehicle then that definitely isnt right, maybe you need to go visit the sales manager.

Sorry to hear about the experience.

I was going to suggest Kw V1 suspension as it drastically improved the ride on my xi. Another contributing ride factor was to get rid of the run-flat tires.

That along with the typical JB4 and intake

good luck let us know how it goes, you never mentioned if the vehicle was CPO or not, also did you try speaking with the sales manager? if things dont get resolved to your satisfaction i would take it up with bmw north america.

You should have got all the required fixes in writing. If you didn't then you'll have to negotiate effectively.

It's not a CPO so the only thing you probably have leverage on is the cracked window and oil leak. Indicate there is a reasonable expectation when purchasing from a dealer this items would be addressed, then force another inspection. You can always leverage communicating the poor experience at BMW Toronto to the masses.

Brakes much like tires and other wear and tear items are buyer beware - hope you got a good deal given the brakes need replacing soon. 5% should have been noted on the inspection report prior to purchase.

For sure speak with the GM or sales manager.

Where exactly is this windshield crack/chip located?

When they say 'safety' they are referring to the Ontario Safety Certificate inspection that every used car must pass prior to being legally plated. I ask for the location of the chip/crack because of the following:

Quote:
HTA.Regulation 611-Safety Inspection.Schedule 1.7h states: “(h) there shall be no star, stone chip or crack in the area of the windshield swept by the driver’s wiper blade, that may interfere with the driver’s vision;…”
If it's at the corner/tucked away, it may very well have passed Ontario safety and they're technically not obligated to fix it (though they should to establish a good customer relationship).

i think i do really got a decent deal for them ... but all the problems i pointed out such as the cracked window and oil leak ..... turn out nothing been repair on the report.... for brake i just notice after i review the maintance Schedule. sales repsoned it passed "safety" thats all.

sigh i dont' have much knowledge about car especially this is my first bmw purchase in a big dealership .. and this is what i got sigh....

the crack is at the bottom middle kind of on top on driver’s wiper blade.

You should really walk away from this deal (cancel and get back all your $)

Actually, safety requires the absolute minimal these days ... as long as the car has a bit of pads left and the car can stop ... safety passed.
