just a head's up for the guys out of warranty/maint. plan. advantage bmw midtown has the best price for oil changes in houston. $105.00

most other dealers in houston are in the $160+ range

Just wanted to say hi to all the Houston BMW owners. I've been in contact with Irv for BMW MotorWerks for an ED 2012 e92 so hopefully I'll be part of the family soon

In the meantime, here are the specifications I've laid out - any suggestions on what I'm missing or what I don't really need?

^with those options, i'd rather get the 335iS. its got a better engine. n54 > n55

So my warranty is ending 1/3/2012 and seriously considering buying the extended one (not talking about the maintenance warranty). Anyone have any leads or basically just call around the local dealers?

Hmm... I didn't even consider the 335is. Looks like I've got some more research to do.

^yea man, anytime i see people interested in the 2011-12 e92 w/ msport package, it makes no sense why they just don't get the 335iS. it's a limited production car, will definitely hold value better than the n55 engine cars, plus it's got more power from the factory

yes, $104.86 or so after tax. i thought it was a great price, too. i had used bavarian machine off allen parkway for a while, but it's hard to do sometimes because they're not open on saturday.

I pay $75 at Houston Automotive Center on Las Palmas. It's very convenient since it 500 feet from my house but they're not open on Saturday.

They took care of Ryan's e93 as well.

Hey just a heads up, I purchased my extended warranty from BMW North and found that they had the best deal out of the dealerships in Houston. I spoke with the finance dept. director (think her name was Athena?) and she gave me a great deal (can't remember the exact dollar amount now). I would recommend just making some calls and price shopping it since the price is negotiable.

that's a good price, brent

in regards to advantage in midtown, they didn't say anything negative about my mods (catless dp's, intercooler, dci, procede, 19" rims, lowered suspension, various exterior bits). the service manager actually commented that he liked what i've done to the car. overall, they're a great dealership to get routine service done at
