[quote=ajvee;8722952]Welcome! check out www.mnbmw.com as well.

If you can't be bothered with a separate set of winter tires and summer tires, just invest in a set of solid all season tires. I am sure you can get a lightly used set for dirt cheap on craigslist.[/QUOTE

All season tires sound good! how do i search for tires on craigslist? results are in the thousands... should i just go on to craigslist and search "all season tires"?

Thanks!

What tire size do you have (go out and look at the tires side wall), for example the ones on my car are 245/40/18. Searching sizes on craigslist will be much easier.

My first thought was "hmm, people must have had a new year's resolution to not go on the forums as much..."

Fact of the matter is, is that we started a new thread, I didn't realize it and I'm just a damn moron.

Very nice...

Yeah, everything was going fine until i decided to turn around, i made sure not to get my rear tires in the deep stuff, so i put my fronts in the deep snow and my rears on the slick ice. got stuck. Had to call for backup. And 11.8mpg is standard for a RWD beemer in the snow, you should know that.

Lol, I thought that was you but I wasn't paying attention until I was already flying by. I was having a little fun and your license plate caught my attention at the last second.

I work right down the road from there.

Hey Guys,

Which board are we going to use??? It was nice seeing everyone at the Imola meet eventhough I was rollin' BMW'less.

Anyway, I'm having difficulty warming up to the minor nuances of mnbmw.com; it's not vBulletin software so it's kinda, I don't know, weird. I guess I have to just get used to it but I like it better here

I was the exact same way Nick. Didn't like the change. But now that I'm used to it...it's very nice and user friendly. Be sure to use the "recent unread posts" tool in the top-right

My only gripe is the need to log in every time viewing the site.

Any of you fools gonna plan on going out to Timmayfest in June? We are trying to figure out if getting a caravan started here in Chicago is worth it or just getting there as fast as possible is a better idea.

I might go if there is a lot of people here that go, but that might be a stretch.
