Freelander 2

Anyone know much about these? Reliability, what to look out for etc.

Considering one of these to replace the Mini. I've never looked into 4WDs before, but I do like the look of these and they seem to get decent write ups. Be particularly useful during our bleak winter months up North and it means the TTS could stay safely warm and dry in the garage.

Ali drove a Freelander 2 XS just ahead of New Year. Excellent service, good long drive, real customer care even pre sale! Way different to my BMW and Audi experiences.

What a fantastic vehicle! Comfortable, great driving position, handles well for what it is, quiet, refined and great interior. We are very tempted, particularly as the snow keeps on coming! Having said that, my TTS is doing well!

Can't remember if I posted in the Discovery thread Gav but woman at work is on her 2nd Freelander, this one's a 58 reg.

Her first one she had for 5 years and it never missed a beat. This newer one recently had a new power steering pump fitted under warranty. What impressed me tbh was the fact the dealer told her it was a known fault! There is some honesty about lol.

Bottom line is she loves the car. Have to say it does look pretty menacing in black!

Hope you're enjoying the TTS and pleased you're getting around ok........not that I expected anything else.
