It is a nice way to cheapen the look of your new E90 if thats what you are going for.

Meh, i dunno..... Kinda grows on you... but only on that color.
I'm gettin' jet black, so not for me. Wonder if the Angels would be too hard to see...

Let's see, here is a product that obscures your vehicle's headlights. The headlights allow you to see where you are going during the 40% of the day when the burning ball of plasma in the sky is shining on the other side of the planet and it is DARK. By obscuring the headlights, you are diminishing the effectiveness of the single most effective piece of safety equipment on your vehicle. Do you ponder this? No... You are pondering how such a cool modification will effect the visibility of the Angel eyes. Moron. |

OMG, please delete this thread. It has become evil.
I was just surfing e90 stuff on ebay and thought I'd share. Please forgive and what's with the name calling? That's just rude. ZenDriver? C'mon.

The guy seems pretty happpy with the idea of covering up his headlights. How much dumber can somebody be. I know we live in a world where we are just supposed to tollerate other people's idiocy and that's fine... but there is a line and it can be drawn clearly where people want to obscure their headlights in an effort to look cool. I'm calling a spade a spade. |

I wouldn't go so far as to call anyone names...to be honest that's the first thing I thought of when I first saw the pic...why would anyone want to cover up such a unique part of the car, the angel eyes? How dumb
But I do have to agree with you, though ZenDriver and why you'd be mad and upset about them. If you think about it, these things could probably kill someone. If not the driver on a rainy, foggy night, then probably a pedestrian. You don't only use headlights to see...you use them to be seen as well. These things cut WAY down on your own visibility and the increased chance of getting into a wreck isn't worth looking "cool". On the contrary, these things are pretty un-cool. |

I think the original intent of vinyl covers was to wear them on the track to protect your headlight from rock chips.
Then they came out with colored ones. When I had smoked front corners on my E46 and there were no smoked rears, I used Stickercity tint on the rear clears and it worked ok. www.stickercity.com I don't care for the look above either, I was just sharing. ZenDriver, you should do some research on what it means to be in "Zen" -- you are not there.
