All I had before was the JB+, and the COBB pretty much takes a dump on that. The power bands are insane. You feel this thing working all over in every gear. I'm really happy so far.

I just purchased tires 4 months ago so I'm good now. My comment was more geared towards how much rubber I'm burning up now. Thanks for the thought.

Got Cobb AP last Monday at Mach V. First it didn't recognize the ROM. Thanks to Mach V and Cobb, I got the update file back in a day.

All I can say is "Fun!!!!".

I'm looking to get mine this weekend. I spoke with Mach V and the latest batch they said they are getting in will have the most recent flash with the 07 firmware.

For any of the midatlantic guys - a friend of mine just ordered a BUNCH of AP's as he's a distributor now and has great pricing. Hit me up if you want one and I can get you in touch with them. They are vendors on e90post They are local to us so you can pick it up or have them mail it. Whichever you prefer.

I love my AP as well. Not trying to start any wars or anything, but I got my AP through Sonic Tuning. They are located in Gaithersburg, MD. There customer service is great and there pricing on the product is great. Contact them for there special offer. I promise you would be disappointed.

I'd be curious. What do you have in mind? Driving them back to back? Or do you want to come dyno the car here?

I installed Cobb AP on my 2007 last week, and i couldn't have been happier. Car feels smoother and faster. My ROM was supported, so the install was a breeze. I just wish I wasn't stuck in traffic all the f'ing time, because its tempting to have so much power under my right toe.

Picked up the COBB AP for my e90 from Dan @ MachV and love it! A must have!

MachV is an awesome shop and is worth the trip out to pick one up in person AND see the awesome shop cars they have parked out front.

Do it!!!

Wow, sounds like everyone is getting a COBB AP these days. It's a bit pricey but well worth it. My car pulls like a V8 and it feels so factory.

Cobb is GREAT! I got mine last week, unsupported ROM. Cobb promptly replied and had me going in a few days.

Really transforms the car. No issues with power delivery or anything I have been reading on forums. Very nice linear power delivery.

Guys at Top Gear took very good car of me. Thanks Rob and Jeff. Great service and price!

My Cobb doesn't work . I am one of the few who can't flash the ECU past 3 percent because it loses it's connections. Cobb is working on it and hopefully it will be resolved in the near future.

What's the build date of your car? I'm worried I might have the same issue when I finally decide to buy one. I have a 9/2006 build date e92.

I've been reluctant to buy this because of the non-linear power curve that a lot of users mention. I'm also curious how the tune is affecting gas mpg. I realize that people probably tend to push the car more since there is more power, but once they settle down what is the result?

I push my car...although noticed I was doing it less after the tune b/c power comes on so quickly..lol. My MPG went from ~27 to ~23.

I could care less though.

Have you driven the car with one of these? It feels like stock, just with more power. It's the smoothest of any tuned 335i I've experienced.

I am getting the same MPG as before, which is around 22.5 mixed highway/stop-go commute.
