Mine is "Funtastic".

After a week of having the AP installed, I love it more. Very smooth driving around town, and can be agressive whenever I ask for. Love it.

My build date is Jan. of 2007. From what I've seen and heard build date has nothing to do whether or not the Cobb works.

Got the COBB installed on my wife's '07 e90. No issues with install.

Power delivery is very smooth but Faster. Like holy carp fast. 15psi comes on right away when you mash the throttle but everthing is like stock before you touch the throttle. I'm sure my wife had a nice commute to work this morning

My engine is stock at the moment. I will only have the COBB tune. I am in the process of shopping for dp's and I will get an intercooler at some point in the next couple months. I am lowered on coils with wheels and a few cosmetics mods. This will be my first-time tuning this vehicle.

I am really excited!!!!

Let us know what you think! I'm in the process of looking at various tunes to decide if I want to get one. But I don't really want to get any supporting mods at least not for awhile.

Curious as to your impressions on a stock motor with just a tune.

Stock motor with just a tune is a world of difference on these cars, whether you choose JB4, procede, Cobb, etc. Tons of fun!

I'm running pretty much stock aswell besides my DCI. The new Stage 1 maps (v301) are pretty insane. I run Aggressive with the stock calibrated accelerations.... Makes for a pretty smooth but strong pull. The linear map on Aggressive was ok but it left a bit to be desired.

I have had my COBB tune since early this year and WOW it only gets better with every update. This is by far the smoothest and easiest tune out there.

My next step is to get DP's so I can do stage 2, but it's about to be winter so I'm in no rush.

Scalability wise, Procede vs. Cobb, hands down.

but I drank the Procede koolaid. If you want a comparision, don't go by numbers you read on a sheet. Sit down in one of cars and get a feel for the function and power from each tune. If you want to get an idea of what it'll be like with Procede, drop me a line and come out.

Are you saying the PROcede if better than COBB hands down?

Its really hard to compare a tune by sittiing in the passenger seat. I would have to drive both cars to feels the power gains myself. I sat in Scott's car and he in FBO with PROcede and I felt a big difference, but I would have really been able to compare to my car if I had driven it. No sdaying that i would need to drive ppl's car to get a better understanding of the power gains. Its just jard to tell when you not applying the (right foot applicator).

I will know soon as my COBB will be here on Mon.

No. I'm saying that Procede and Cobb are good for what we want to do. I can't speak for or against JB but Vishnu tuning is doing amazing stuff for the N54.

Quick question -

How is the install for the proceed? Meaning, is it a pain to remove for warranty work? I should probably search that.

So far I'm leaning towards that only because I like being able to interface with the unit via a laptop, as that's what I'm used to on the other cars I've tuned.

Plus I really want to recreate that scene in The Fast and the Furious where paul walker was telling his laptop to shut up during that first drag race

No it is actually surprisingly easy. When I went to take my procede off, I had my laptop ready to follow the DIY. Didn't even need it. Uninstalling is common sense. Installing might take 30min-1hr at first, but it is all extremely easy steps.

smooth as butter. Very linear. I am happy. I really need to get an intake and intercooler. I definaterly feel like my car inst breathing properly. I already have a set of AR on order.

I agree. I have to spend more time with the maps. I have to try stage1 aggressive w/ the stock throttle mapping. I have been using the AGR Linear. Its fun playing with the AP and all of its capabilities. I have to learn how to data log.
