HELP!!....idrive screen broken

hi everyone. i recently had problems with my idrive screen being intermitant while driving, now it doesnt come on at all!! is there anything i can do to fix it to bring the screen back to life? everything still works like the radio etc, its annoying as i cant use the sat nav which i use alot. is there any way on trying to locate the fault within the car?

The same thing happened to me. I had to take it to the dealership. They said it was some wires which allowed the connection to flow through. The wires were damaged. That's why it wasn't showing a picture. Hope it helps :|
