awesome, thanks for the tip craven. is there a DIY for this filter delete? i ran across it a month or so ago and cant' seem to find which thread the person posted the link in

does this produce the same cabin noise as the stock intake?

there is a slight increase in intake sound, not very much but a little.

Its very easy to do, remove the stock box, open it. Pull out the filter, then you will see a filter that is molded into the box that you cant pull out - Take a razor blade to it and cut it cleanly out, then take a lighter to the remaining wispy hairs from the filter and make sure no dust in left in the box. Drop in a K&N filter to replace the OEM and reinstall the box.

i tried the dremel for 2 seconds and it shot dust everywhere, so I was over that lol

I used my CRKT and a zippo. Worked very nicely. but dremel tools are so much cooler.
