Can you put pedal shifters to 2007 335xi with sport package
it didn't come with pedal shifters? is it possible to install? if it is how hard it is? how much would it cost. Any help appreciated thanks |

Yes. Burger sells a harness for adding paddle shifters to a car that didn't come with them. The harness is fairly cheap, but you have to buy the paddle shifters as well. Any 3 series shifters will work (M3 DCT, push-pull, or the LCI paddles)

Yikes, I know I definitely wouldn't buy the Burger tuning paddle shift "retrofit harness"... $180 for a bunch of wires and a list of the other $700 worth of parts you'll need. They may say no cutting, easy installation, etc. but in reality it is just a few simple wires and connectors and can be created by anyone with a few skills. That's why they don't want anyone posting pictures of this harness online... It's just too easy to do it yourself.
Take a look at this homemade harness in the DIY section of the forums: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=361439 -Honestly, I'm getting really tired of the markup on these little things with the "BMW tax", Dan |
