please

but i'll be nice and respond.

upgrade to v5, load the newest map/firmware, reset adaptations and try again. v5 fixes the misfire issues seen by some ATs before.

keep in mind, if you have bad spark plugs and injectors, you may still misfire. if it happens again and you have >20K miles on your current plugs, try replacing your plugs.

If it happens on idle. Take the Procede out and dealer it. Probably bad injectors or coils If your car is a 2008 it probably is entitled to a recall for the injectors

Definitely. Never hurts to take the tune out to make sure it's unrelated.

+1

If you are misfiring at idle and in valet mode, it's not going to be a tune related. Assuming nothing has been installed/updated incorrectly, it sounds like a bad coil/injector or plug.

If you purchased the Procede used and want it checked/tested/updated by us, send it in and we will do it free of charge.

Cheers,
shiv

He just installed the tune though, pretty sure the car wasnt misfiring prior to the tune. IMO he shouldnt have to upgrade to v5 if he does not want to spend the money. Shiv already stated the tune causes misfires and fixed it. He should simply release the fix for v4 as well.

If your misfiring on valet mod map, there is some other issues with your car other than the known procede induced misfire of the older v5 maps...The new ones have corrected this...

Simple, did you floor your car prior to the tune after you got the dealership work done?

If yes, and you didnt misfire, its the tune.
If yes, and it misfired, then its the car

Shiv, is the AT misfire fix available for the v4?

Reason I even care, is that the guy is running my old procede and for some reason does not seem to have any luck with it.

It's weird that you're misfiring at idle, but if you're not misfiring stock, it might be the tune.

yeah but the day i got the car back i ran it on the highway with no misfires or anything installed the procede and everything was fine until tonight temps dropped a bit came around a corner gunned it and i got the service engine light with the misfire code did all the adaptation resets and try again same thing.
pulled it out the procede and the same thing happened again im really wondering if its the change in temp or somthing

i looked at my service papers and they replaced all six injectors but i dont know if they changed the plugs or coils im just really hoping they can get the car back to me the same day

edit: was not able to get it into the dealer today because i have other things to do but it seems like cylinder six is not firing at all im hoping its not a blown head ,but i think there would be more codes thrown all i have is the service engine soon light. with a misfire code on 6

i called them and based on my "history" it shouldnt damage the engine but i really dont know how much to trust sa's

yeah so the misfire was a complete failure on coil six just as i suspected and just for your dyno loving guys did a before and after before the coil took a crap and had a 71whp delta with just the procede considering that the gas in florida is a bit better then other parts of the country with a dci i should be seeing almost a 80 whp delta which is great considering i came from a vq35hr that engine would just get louder and louder and i would still get raped by neons on boost
