275 to 265 tire question

Currently running 275/30-19 nitto nt-555 tires in the rear and am getting some rubbing. How much more clearance would dropping to a 265/30 gain me?

Thanks

Enough clearance. I am on 265/30/19 General Exclaim UHP, no problem.

Good to hear. Didnt realize until after i bought tires that the LCI has 12mm less on each size. After rolled fenders and a slight shave, i still rub on good bumps. Hoping the switch will remedy this.

Might want to check a different brand/model tire. I run 275 with no issues on my LCI.

Well you'll be gaining 5mm of clearance on each side of the tire with a 265. If you plan on keeping the tires, some slight fender rolling can be done to cure the issue.

Damn - Chris said you have the same setup as me...(Forgestars / offsets) The tires are the same size I run in the back without rubbing. I'm not rolled either? Call me if you want to check out our setups.

Steve, if i had an <08 or a coupe i would have been fine. However lci's have less room in the rear. Nitto nt-555s might not be as rounded as other brands so it may be another reason contributing. 19x10s look sweet in the rear though. 265s mounted today so i should be fine now.
