First Post & Just bought a 335i Sedan in AW
I left 2000 dollars down. Trading in my payed off 2004.5 VW GLI with 36k. My salesman in Habberstad BMW had a list of a car that fit my needs. This would be
1) Alpine White 2) Aluminum Trim w/ Black Leather 3) Premium Pack 4) Sports Pack 5) Nav 6) Heated Seats The Dealership charged me 43,300 for the car. I dont know if thats a good deal or not....? And i dont know if i should bank the money on the trade in and do 399 Lease or Finance it with a bigger downpayment and car for 399 a month also. What do you guys think? And did i get a good deal. When should i expect the car to come? He said its going to Jersey. No ship date though?!?! And what option would be best i presume. This is going to be my first car under my name and all so this is a new step for me and i would like to participate in this BMW Community. Help a fellow out! Thank you! |

Invoice w/o MACO for a E90 335i w/6MT and the equipment you listed is $42530, if w/step, $43740. MACO in the NY area is ~$300. If you paid $43300 for the 6MT, you paid less than $500 over invoice. If you ordered the step, you are paying below invoice. I priced out my car @ Habberstad and the lowest internet/AAA member pricing was about $900 over invoice for the E92. I would like to see your sales order because I don't think they would sell at those levels, unless it was a cancelled order. Sounds like you got a steal, unless there's something wrong with the car.

IMO, the best way to buy a BMW is Euro delivery. Otherwise sounds like a reasonable deal, depending on what the actual numbers are. Hard to tell from your note what the price the car is; does the figure incled the downpayment etc.
