Sedan m-sports still have the option of upping to 193M rims for $600 (hopefully)? It's implied by the statement (rather, what's not stated), but just double-checking.

And even if BMW considers it a "strange option" what is the real harm in keeping it as a Priority One option like automatic high beams. Some of us think the M panels are strange, especially for $1500 extra. Just saying.

Only affects car production starting in March. Feb production cars are good to go as ordered. Also noticed your info says you are from Italy. I don't know if you have an Italian or U.S. model ordered but these changes only affect U.S. models AFAIK.
Yeah I'm in Italy and my car is US spec.

I placed my order for '11 335i X-drive M-Sport Pkg on 2/6. On 2/8 my Client Advisor faxed me a Vehicle Inquiry Report that specifically states it will have "ZMP" and underneath that it says "2MF 18" Light Alloy Star-spoke wheels style 193M". But according to the original post:
Quote:
335i xDrive coupe M-sport package includes 17" style 194
So I guess mine will be produced by the end of February? Lucky me I guess. I know this sounds crazy, but besides M-sport aero kit, the rims is why I opted for package. I can't imagine how upset I'd be if it arrives with 17" fugly style 194s.

Based on the bulletin I read the sport pkg changes only affect the coupe and convertible.

Manager called today and said that BMW still hasn't released pricing. Could be early as tomorrow but no later than Tuesday.

What are the chances prices go down?? or price increase with more standard features? e90 late in its life-cycle, late in the model year ... though BMW's trend always seems to be up...

For a lot of buyers this change amounts to a defacto price increase since we were previously all set with the non-M sport pkg. Based on that I'm of the belief that the price either stays the same (Invoice $2730) or goes down a few hundred to make it more digestible. I really can't see the price going up b/c I think it would turn off too many prospective customers.

I wholeheartedly agree. I'm actually one of those customers.

Have you already put in your order, because if you already have then you shouldn't be hit by a price increase, if there will be one. I checked BMWUSA and my car is already in the production stage, and the official order only went in on 2/8 according to my vehicle inquiry. IT says "Priority 1- Customer Sold" on it, so maybe that had something to do with how quick things are moving, but don't quote me on that.

As far as the 328xi, I would have to think the M Sport option would go down in price because you no longer get the M wheels. You can either get the 17" style 340 all seasons or the 18" style 152 perfomance tires. By the way, I did confirm that those earlier pics of the 152 are correct. I can't imagine anyone paying more for those as they are ugly as sin.

From my understanding which is based on what the sales manager told me, they can input an order in the system but not marked as sold...kind of puts it in limbo. That's what they did with mine since pricing hasn't been released yet. Once pricing is release and we agree on the options and price, he'll go back in the system and mark it "sold" which I assume changes it to "Priorty 1."

I was supposed to put my order in last weekend based on getting my bonus check last week. Well the bonus check was delayed and therefore my ordering was delayed. I need that bonus for part of my down payment. If I knew what it would be I'd be OK but with changes here nothing is guaranteed. Since the bonus would be a 25%-30% of my down, I don't feel comfortable ordering before I get it or at least know what it will be. I also am not sure if my dealer even has any open February builds left so it seems I'm now stuck!

It might just be that my E93 dream isn't meant to be......

Sales manager called me this morning and said that the price on the ZM2 is going to be $2,000 (more if you upgrade to the ugly 152's.) However, the automatic transmission is now a no cost option so the price of my orginally configured pre-March order has only risen from $49,310 to $49,675.

I was ready to say finalize everything (and was assuming they'd pick up the difference) when he asked me if I wanted to add BMW apps. I asked him how much it was and that I thought that came with NAV and BMW assist. He said he had read that too and would double check as his printout was cut off at the bottom. Waiting on a call back and will let you know.

Thanks for the update! So is that $2000 retail or invoice? I'm assuming retail and that was on a 328xi correct?
I guess it's time for me to call the dealer again and see what it will cost on the convertibles.

Thx

Not sure if it was retail or invoice. This is for a 328xi.

SM called back and difference only $365 so they are going to eat it. Marked as sold and will be going to production

Basically that it's replacing the smartphone connectivity pkg and will cost about $150 more than that did.

Great news...considering. I'm a little relieved. Really did not want to spend nearly $3K. Even better if that is the retail price.

Question on the no cost option Step. Is BMW making it a true "no cost" option for the rest of the model year, i.e. it will show up a $0 on invoices and the online configurator whenever that is updated or is this the current promotion that ends at the end of the month? Just wondering if BMW is simplifying and extending the offer. I haven't had a chance to talk w/ my CA yet.

6NR is bundled with 6NF. 6NF (Smartphone integration) won't cost any more than currently ($135 invoice). There is no other to order 6NR w/o 6NF though. Of course then there is the $200 iPhone 4 adapter whenever it comes out (and make sure you get the one w/ video out which is the correct version to use w/ 6NR. Complicated).
