Doesn't the iPhone snap in adapter take care of that? That's what I got.

I think this is what you are asking...

6NF (Smartphone Integration) only includes the built-in socket inside the console. You then have to buy @ additional cost the appropriate snap-in adapter for your phone (assuming BMW makes it). So if you order 6NF from the factory you also want to order the snap-in adapter from any BMW parts dealer -- the snap-in adapter is not a factory option unfortunately.

If you want to use 6NR then you have to get the iPhone 4 multimedia snap-in adapter. BMW makes it super confusing b/c they are making 3 different iPhone 4 adapters but only one works with 6NR. It's around $200 if you buy it from the right dealer. I think MSRP is around $230.

Yes, I got the smartphone integration option and also chose the iPhone snap in adapter listed in the accessories tab under "technology." It only lists one option for the iPhone so I'm assuming it would be the right one.

Yeah, everything under the "Accessories" tab is dealer supplied. Your CA can give you a quote (should be around $200) but the iPhone 4 snap-ins just came out -- like a few days ago. Don't assume your CA will get you the right one for 6NF. Make sure it's the multimedia version.

I was ready to say finalize everything (and was assuming they'd pick up the difference) when he asked me if I wanted to add BMW apps. I asked him how much it was and that I thought that came with NAV and BMW assist. He said he had read that too and would double check as his printout was cut off at the bottom. Waiting on a call back and will let you know.
It's crazy how sneaky their price increases are. I got my car last June (still an '11 model) with the sticker showing $62,175 and if I go spec out the exact same car now, it comes out to $62,525.

Do you happen to know if that's across the entire 3 line?

I suppose they're not going to run an ad campaign for every price increase.

You paid $62,175 for your car back in June 2011?

New M Sport for 335i vert is (Invoice/MSRP) $2550/2800. Old ZSP was $1275/1400. That makes it a $1275 increase -- though somewhat of a wash if you order Step and it continues to be free -- either as a no cost option or continued invoice credit. But it's still a steep price increase.

No. I paid way less than that because I'm a kick ass negotiator and June 2011 has not passed yet. Like I said, I got it last June, which would have been 2010. 2011 models came out a lot earlier than usual stateside. smartass fail.

Good catch on the typo question was the price was that high, cause I just bought mine (gets built this month) for A LOT less than that price!

haha I thought you were trying to be a dick. Well, I'm not sure the price differential between the 3 series in Italy and the US, but I think our cars are different. I have the North America only 335is which is priced a bit higher than the normal 335i coupe here. my car vs a loaded 335i is roughly 4-5k, but when they are stripped down, the difference gets much larger.

Well, I just got off the phone with the dealer and I'm a little bummed! He didn't have concrete info but from what he was reading the March production base price is increasing by $950 with an option credit of $1375 for a net savings of $425. The problem is that if all I have read here is correct, that option savings is for the Auto Tranny and therefore anyone getting a Manual sees a $950 increase as well as the jump up to M-Sport if you want Sports Pack.

I'll be getting more info soon but it really should like the dealers don't even know what's happening yet. I also double checked and there are no more Feb. allocations available to modify.

Discontinuing sport package is a terrible idea, and the new wheels are garbage. Who is calling these shots?

Edit - Well thank God that automatic transmissions don't cost extra now. Glad to help subsidize that.

Annoying --- certainly. Fail? I'm not so sure. They got a lot of people here (me included) to buy the M package vs. foregoing sport seats. Seems like a win for BMW.

E93 Retail Price Sheet - Effective Mar. 1, 2011

Annoying sure is a good word for the vagueness of the March Productions changes. If you can no longer order the old options the new details should be fully available by now.

I talked with the dealer again trying to get to the bottom of the new pricing and options. The dealer gave me the attached E93 Retail Price Sheet that becomes effective Mar. 1, 2011. The problem is that this just confuses things more. It shows base price up $950, the Auto @ NC, BMW Apps @ $250, the ZM2 M-Sport @ $2800, although it also shows ZMP M-Sport and the ZSP Sport packages too.

He doesn't quite get it and it's all really frustrating for me as well. According to him this is the newest up to date pricing and options. What the heck is going on????

1...I ordered mine already and am keeping my fingers crossed it will be built correctly. How hard would it be for BMWNA to update their website? Are they busy working on other websites?

Thanks for the attachments...I'll have to check them out when I get to my computer.

Just remember the Price Sheet is for the E93 Convertibles only so I'm not sure how much they will help you with your xi. Plus they are still showing standard sport and M-sport so who knows if they are even accurate. They show effective Mar. 1st but were written Feb. 11th.

This all just adds to my frustration. With the base price increase and the M-sport extra cost, I'm not even sure if I can afford this car anymore.

Hey thanks for uploading those. I was wondering about the "rumored" price hike, free Step, etc.

OK, yup. Kind of frustrating when BMW makes changes. If it's any comfort this is par for the course w/ BMW and really mild. The worst is when they come out with new trim styles or colors but have no samples. I once ordered a Z3 with a new color option (Topaz Blue) sight unseen. Talk about nerve wracking.

Price hike isn't really that bad since Step is now N/C (unless you want MT, of course). The extra $100 for Apps is ridiculous. I also noticed the price for the cold weather package was reduced a bit when you have the M Package. So all-in-all not really that bad of deal once the smoke clears. I'm just thankful my car isn't going into production for a couple more months.

I think ZMP and ZSP are still listed for unsold Feb cars still arriving at dealer lots but that is just a guess. I know my order was changed automatically from ZSP to ZM2 and color changed to Le Mans.

Yeah that's my problem, I am looking for the manual so I get hit by both the base increase and the sport pack increase by needing to move up to the M-Sport. Plus I get lucky enough to get those new sport pack wheels.

The M-Sport pack always had a cheaper Cold Weather pack due to the lack of the heated steering wheel but it also looks like the heated steering wheel is gone altogether now.

Well I'm glad I could help by posting the price sheet. This forum has been a great help to me. I'll let you all know if / when I get anymore information.

I think the whole thing is quite strange. Seriously, how hard could it be to release the pricing and update the website? Here it is late in February and they still can't show what you can order for March?

Wouldn't it make more sense to have updated the website early and then if someone goes to a dealer to buy one they'd simply tell them they have to order it? Oh well. Good luck with your purchase. Maybe you can go without a convertible or MT?
