Smile Running same size on staggered sprtwheels set up on 2009 335 xi

I have a 2009 335 Xi with the 189 18" staggered sport rims. 35 in rearand 40 in front , can i run the 40's all around? Even though the rears are 8.5 " x 18 and front are 18x8? I want to get rid of the run flats as I am on H&R sport springs and Bilstein sport suspension. What is the most reccomendded set up for this situation. i am tired of the wincing overpotholes and explosive noises from large bumps with this set up and I hear that run flats are the first thing to change after suspension on the 335.please help , anybody with a clue.

Yes, you can do 225/40/18 all around even if the rear wheels are 18x8.5.

Like they have said above, 225/40/18 are perfect sizes to run on both a 8 and 8.5" width wheel.

Thank you guys. Will this change the appearance ofthe car at all, will the rears look different from the front in a bad way? I am on lowered bilsteins and H&R sports.
