Charge pipe/BOV for the n55??? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Has anyone tried getting one of these made?? Seems like a very simple pipe, i dont know why anyone has had one made for the n55 yet...

Im going to try and get one of these custom fabricated locally. Is there any issues that would cause problems to run an aftermarket charge pipe/BOV on the n55?

Im pretty sure there are multiple options for the N55. Check ER's website.

just buy a cheap one made for a post 2010 n54, cut the DV flange and weld it shut.
i made mine from a ****** one....

Why weld it shut? You can't add the bov/dv on the n55?

you can't. the n55 has a DV on the turbo compressor housing....

Never mind, ER only has them for N54. It says 2009+ though, email them.

We can sell ours without a blow off valve tube and it will work.

Hey I pmed and emailed you regarding the intercooler.

Would pricing be the same or would you be able to give me a better deal since there is no flange, cutting or welding involved???

I cant see myself spending $285 on a simple pipe and 2 silicone couplers.

You wont really find anything new cheaper than that. ETS seems to be making some awesome products.

Great, thank you. Can you also get me pricing on the intercooler alone with out the kit please. I'm going to have a local guy fabricate the lower charge pipe for me.

Was there any fitment issues with the pipe or it was just direct bolt on??

Also eat the diameter of the ****** pipe? Did you feel any difference in throttle response after install?

So your Charge Pipe will work for the n55 systems?
