Post 335i Aero Kit Question

i went to the dealership today for a price quote on just the aero rear bumper without pcd and the price of the bumper alone costs more then buying the entire aero kit. how can this be? any dealerships on where i can get just the rear aero bumper for the proper price?

go to another dealership. sounds like you ran into unsavory salesmanship - an attempt to con you into buying more than you need to. make a few phone calls, let your fingers do the walking.

Try circle BMW. I'm ordering a front aero only from them, as many others have here too. Very reasonable price.

i have called circle bmw for just the rear bumper of the aero kit. they say it is just a add on piece and not a whole replacement bumper. can anyone confirm if it is just an add on piece for $279 or a new bumper? help please.

For anyone looking to do a BOV on their 335i, I'd do some research. There are posts that say that the car was not made to have a BOV...just something I read and something to consider...

What did they quote you? I'm thinking of giving them a call.

Thanks,

Can't remember at the time, but I believe under $400 for just the front. It's on backorder, but I should find out this week if they can get one in.

Do you guys know if the Aero kit is a full replacement front bumper? I read something in the forums that suggests it's an add-on piece to the stock bumper. If so, what is it adding on?

Thanks.

Not sure how it will fit, but as I understand it is just a lip. Doesn't really matter to me, as I think it will look better than stock and some of the full replacement bumpers out there. The good new is that it will probably be so easy to install that I can do it myself and save even more money.

Yea, just figured it out. It's like a shell piece that fits over the existing bumper. Held on by some bolts and double side tape. Still looks better than anything else I've seen.
