round town its doing about 23 mpg.

i have just bought 4 brand new tyres

conti's contact sport 5's for 100 quid each new on ebay they should be 225

oh and i went a size wider so 235/35/19 and 265/30/19

245 on tax a full tank is about 56 - 60 quid and will do me 300 - 350 miles.
Yeah its always good to know someone who can reset the computer for home servicing etc , the 37mpg you got was that your own brim to brim calculation or what the computer was telling you? if so that is very good, on most of the M3 based forums I read almost all of the people are averaging 19 to 24mpg and getting approx 230 - 250 mile to a tank, the Tax is obvioulsy for 6 months or am I missing something? as I'm sure the co2 for these cars is above 300g so putting it in the over 400 bracket for the year.

that was brim to empty 300 miles from the last tank i did.

i also did a reset on the computer and it was getting 37 mpg

the tax is for 12 month as its before 2004 / 2005 when they changed to 400 so as it before its only 245.

Brim to empty for 300 miles is about right but it's nowhere near 37mpg.

was up at 9250 i got it for 8750 as she needs new rubber on the rear and also tax this month.

i cleaned and leather dye'd the seats as they had some wear but not ripped or burns on the seats so they have come up like brand new.

im really impressed. always wanted an M3 and now i have one.

I stand correct I heard ages ago that they were meant to be taking it back even further than pre 2004/05 cars (ie) back to pre 2001 cars and I thought it was already implemented, good news

Dizzle ye it is a major upgrade,

i had my e36 316i for about 7 years done everything to it and its still a very good car (155k on clock)

i have driven loads of high powered cars but just need saving for mine and the insurance isnt to bad either its under 1k for a 25 year old with 4 years no claims

Great car Ant! Really lovely colour and interior, and the inline-six in the E46M is a fantastic engine.

Looking forward to seeing you 'round the 'Ring this year - your car will feel right at home there!
