You cannot be serious! I was joking and don't for one minute believe the plate makes any difference. Unlike when I moved to north Essex and was told that it was important to buy a house over the boarder in Suffolk - but even that was just pure British snobbishness.

Iam getting my car on 7th March and it will have Essex plates - obviously I'll be sad to see my current AV (Anglia?) plates go back

Thanks for that. I guessed you wern't being serious ..neither was I

Take your point about snobbery though. It seems to be more prevalent in and around the Essex area than most for some reason.

Good luck with picking up your car on the 7th March ..I bet its been a looooooooong wait?

Sorry to hear that. I had to endure an extra three week wait as my company insisted that I picked up an 07 plate to add resale value to the car. It was ready to be delivered to me on the 8th Feb 2007

..what a wait that turned out to be but take it from me time will fly by and you will be with your baby sooner than you think

Well the DVLA are on the ball, the registration document came in the post this morning, so only two hours to go to pick the car up!

Will try and get some pics posted up soon, although the weather looks a bit dull and we have been forecast the odd shower this afternoon.

Well we left the dealership at about 17.30, so no chance of any pictures tonight. Good news is that it's on PS2s, I didn't really want Bridgestones. We're home now and just going to have some dinner then off out again.
