I love reading GTR threads, always some kind of drama. Especially from the Porsche guys, they get really jealous. Every GTR kill thread, someone have to make an excuse why they won. Computer this, awd that, dual clutch blah blah. They dont factor in how much a GTR weigh etc etc. Its 2011 and not the 1980s. Even better, if you have something neg, then dont say it. GTR really did stir up the world, made so many people jealous. Good kill GTR, weighing the most but came out in front.

I doubt people who own a GT3 are jealous of GTR's... personally, I don't care how good the GTR is, I would still rather have a GT3 RS. And I don't even care for Porsche's too much.

If I had to choose one, it would be the GT-R of the three choices.

I'd prefer the Shelby actually. The GT-R costs quite a bit to maintain, and the Vette doesn't have a backseat.

Don't get me wrong though, I love all three of those cars.

I'd choose the GTR so I could run my apps on that awesome computer.

putting the gt500 in this equation is just stupid. it's the pricetag of significantly lower than a z06, and more in line with a c6.

c6 vs gt500 is a legitimate, founded comparison.

Personally when it gets the cost of a gtr/z06 I'd take a GTR, even being a fan of vettes that I am.

Yeah, i would have thought the Ford would run better than that. I don't want to like the GTR(don't really care for the looks at all) but man, you have to be impressed with that speed........computer based or not.

I wanted a Z06, but after test driving a GT-R, I squealed like a little girl. Game over. I bought one. I still can't think of a car I'd rather have under $100k after 6 months of ownership.

really?

so how much would that be?

ZR1 is an AMAZING machine and would take one over a GTR any freaking day. Let me shift my own gears, let me control the fun pedal, plus the sound out of a ZR1 is godly.

hell I just saw one last Friday run a 10.5x at 134mph BONE STOCK on drag radials. Thats just wow.

pics from the day

I take that back. I'd take the 2012 GT-R over mine and the zr1.
