Can you burn a NAV DVD? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Dealer lost my nav DVD but said they don't have it...anyway, does anyone know if I can take a DVD from a friends car and burn a copy? I'm not paying $200 for maps! Thanks.

-R discs work. My wife and I both have '08 3-Series sedans and I just make a copy for her. (We hardly use our cars at the same time so I don't think it's too big of a deal licensing wise.)
