I looked into this a while ago and after seeing pics of CarreraRSRs old e91 on here

http://www.e90post.com/forums/e90gar...%20(Large).JPG
http://www.e90post.com/forums/e90gar...%20(Large).JPG
http://www.e90post.com/forums/e90gar...%20(Large).JPG

I asked him which spacers he was using. His reply was 20mm on the rear and 12mm on the front with H&R lowering spring which took the front down about 25-30mm and the rear 5-10mm. He said he then changed the spacers round to nothing on the front and 12mm on the rear. I'm not sure why or exactly what set up was used in these pics. The wheels in the pics are the same dimensions and offsets as MV3s
