saving weight is always a priority for me. I have considered AMS or HPF exhaust just for that, but I am not thrilled with the X design nor the sound. I think even with AE or Vangaurd, etc. you lose some weight so it helps. Plus, that is weight at the rear of the car where it is less important to shave. I would like to drop 50 lbs way up by the front bumper somehow!~

Evolution racewerks just test fit their new N55 FMIC on my car. So they should be taking orders for it. I would imagine it would not be too much different to fit it on the 335i.

ian the Eisenmann Race Exhaust sounds good.

Aries932 the big difference is the chargepipe angle from the
driver side. Do you know if it came with the lower arm charge pipe.
take some picts if you can - would be helpful.

This drop in filter has been available for a while.

I installed it right after I had the Bmw PPK installed, so cannot comment on any gains but I guess no one really expects much gains, if any, from a drop in anyway.

Regarding the sound, under wot almost no change at all, contrary to what I expected.
Only a barely noticeable sound change with partial throttle around 2.000 - 4.000 rpms.

If anyone is thinking to buy it hoping for a better sound, I would recommend not to.

Does anyone know if a full akrapovic evo exhaust system (titanium) will fit my 2011 335i xdrive coupe? I read somewhere that modifications might be required but I have had no luck finding a solid answer as to what kind of modifications to the exhaust system are needed...

not 100 percent if that will be the case with the
akrapovic - but it'll give u an idea. I would get in contact
with akrapovic and see if they test fit'd it already with xi n55s.
