I have a Procede Canbus V4 for sale. I have not upgraded to V5 yet, so you can do that and it will be locked to your VIN (no need to purchase the $150 license). The unit is in perfect condition, I will post photos when I can.

According to Shiv, any existing or future software upgrades and add-ons will be available to you for free since this unit is in the grandfathered group. You can read more here:

correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't this more similar to the enthusiast version ($645)? once you upgrade to V5 you'll be VIN locked and you will need to pay $150 to change. The tuner/pro version does not VIN lock.

As far as I know, the VIN lock applies to all Procede V5 units. The difference between the enthusiast and the professional is the add-ons.

If you check the link I posted in my original post, there is a license activation charge on the Procede Professional page that explains it.

Can someone else confirm this please?
