what are the differences between H&R springs and H&R coilovers? I know that the coilovers are adjustable, but other than that, is there really any difference? plus the prices are waaaaay opposite (spings are cheaper)

springs are an easy way to lower your car, but without much concern for performance or your shocks. putting shorter, stiffer, springs with your oem shocks will shorten their life (by how much is a debatable topic, but most agree that the loss of life is dramatic). coilovers are shocks paired with springs that are designed for them ... they will far out perform springs. another solution is to buy a set of shocks a springs for a few hundred dollars less than coilovers. i always recommend coilovers. you bought a bmw, make sure if you replace anything, its better than what you started with!

Take it to Creative since you are in SD

It is adjusted with spanner wrenches which loosen the adjustment ring that brings the spring up and down
